Novelty Incognito

Today ‘Your Inner Rhino’ salutes Mr. Andy Warhol, whose artistic work has made a big impression on the Arts, here and about.

One thing We like about it, is the refreshing awareness that although things may look the same, indeed they are individual… so the Same but, simultaneously, not the Same.

Rhinos may look somewhat alike, but our inner beings are individual, singular, and marvelous.

No news is good news, often

Most days are ruled by a series of issues, many having to do with Food. Others involve sleep, merriment, and social demands. And paying attention to our Neighbors and their intentions. Welcome to Life in the Wild.

Rhinos enjoy ourselves. Why not be happy? There’s mostly a lot to celebrate, one hour to the next. Nature doing its thing, and We doing our small part with good grace.

If Today is much like Yesterday, We can only assume it’s all Good. Or at least, it’s all for the Best.

Yet Again!

It seems that today is M. Paul Gauguin’s 1848 birthday, Again! This is happening all the time, as far as Your Inner Rhino can tell. We celebrate this exceptional painter’s work, and before We know it, We have to do an encore salute.

It seems suspicious that one fellow can have so many birthdays, but We are told it is true. It is probably linked to Mathematics somehow.

One fine day We Rhinos may understand the calendar, but that fine day is taking its fine time arriving.

Then the Lights Went Out

In 731 BC, the first Solar Eclipse was recorded in China. Obviously, it wasn’t the first Eclipse ever, but it must have created quite a stir at the time. Lots of hopping up and down.

Eclipses happen all the time, of one sort or another. So frequent are they that Rhinos don’t fuss. Something gets in the way of something else, and then it’s over. Press on.

What will the End of the World look like? Who can say?

The Social Graces

Rhinos sometimes wonder why We are seldom presented as Cultured. What do We lack?

We have concluded that Rhinos are too straight-forward and unapologetic. We don’t intend to be difficult, but why disguise our goals with convoluted Decorum? Why not just attend to ourselves, and let it go at that? We don’t intend to please or displease any critter: sounds pretty Elegant to Us.

When We err, We try to improve. In conclusion, Rhinos have Good Enough Behavior.
