Obviously, We Rhinos are not mentally idle. We have lots on our minds, many weighty matters being juggled, 24/7. We pay attention.
What We don’t do a lot is to chatter. We let matters develop, We step aside, We mind our own business. We keep our own counsel.
Mum is the word. Very Rhino. Usually, at least.
We like to think of ourselves as Informed, We Rhinos. At least on what matters to Us, and what doesn’t matter, doesn’t matter, right?
Rhino Logic is mostly irrefutable.
Herr Richard Wagner was born May 22, 1813. He is doubtless the best known German opera composer of the 19th century. He had plenty of artistic temperament and zeal. He did not lack Ambition; he liked to think “BIG“.
Some of his operas retell Northern mythology with a lot of sweeping, muscular music. Rhinos like our music packed with Gusto, right? You bet.

May 18, 1897 Bram Stoker’s DRACULA was first published. We probably don’t need to tell you it has been an influential work.
Rhinos like to imagine various emotional states, and DRACULA has got more than enough of those. Who doesn’t enjoy a good tremble every now and then?

Today is National Miniature Golf Day. A frustrating game; it seems so simple, yet it requires skills most Rhinos lack. In almost every case, We can only get better.
Rhinos usually play our games after everybody else has called it quits for the night. Most of our tournaments involve a lot of kicking the ball, which is considered fair when the contestants get testy. Then it’s time for Hole #2.
We have excellent night vision, no matter what they tell you.
Things may be garbled, here and there, and even Rhinos may wish things were perkier. It happens, and We have to get serious and do the Right Thing to mend matters.
However, that does not mean We need to be blue. Rhinos have outstanding Imaginations, so We can imagine Happier Circumstances.
And then, We are in the Pink!
Today is Keith Haring’s birthday, 1958. His graphic style and vision are associated with the New Your City political street energy, surrounding AIDS and social equity.
An amazing artist.
Folk proverbs somehow make Rhinos feel that lot more is being said than seems obvious. We ponder the parts. We wonder.
Perhaps the important part is that We exercise our brains, examining and interpreting.
