On the plus side, Rhinos like water.

Patience
Rhinos are glad that circumstances seldom demand Patience from Us. We are more the go-for-it-with-gusto sort of critter. Go and go some more.
But there are times when Rhinos must bide our time, hold on until things sort themselves out. Rhinos do the right thing.
Well, that’s what being Responsible Critters requires of Us.
Hippity Hoppity
Holidays have special traditions, and Rhinos have always been delighted to assist the E.Bunny Delivery System. Such undertakings involve E.Bunny Managers and a mighty Work Force, among whom Rhinos number ourselves. A lot of bustle, We must say.
There are Bunny Trail Rules for Us Assistants, such as: 1) don’t squeeze the eggs, 2) no loud giggling, and 3) no hopping.
Bunnies are high-strung; they put up with no comedy when it’s Show Time. But then, neither does Santa.
On our minds
the Tests of Time
Consumer Affairs are not unknown to Rhinos. We know that Trial & Error leads to more refined appreciation, no matter the focus of the trials. Try this, try that, etc.
Goldilocks, despite her house-breaking activities, does spend her time comparison shopping.
It’s interesting that We are never told if the Bears’ house is Goldilocks’ first Porridge Caper, right?
Between times
Rhinos have to do research on many of you Readers’ activities, given that We ourselves own nothing. So We are aware that your schedules may be off-kilter at present.
A suggestion which might hit the right note would be: this is a good time to organize your silverware drawers.
Dress for the occasion. Why not?
Ups and Downs
Sisyphus was an ancient Greek ruler who was just too slick for his own good. Eventually, Zeus condemned him to roll a rock up a hill for Eternity, the joke being that when the rock got near the top, it would roll back down, and the chore would be renewed. Forever.
Eternity is a long time, that’s what We Rhinos know. And We Rhinos have only been around for 50 million years.
The other lesson: If you must be irritating, keep a close eye on your audience.
Housebound
Rhinos don’t actually live in houses, in the Wild. We may locate ourselves near a shrub, or in a gully, or in the field, but otherwise, no house.
Still, sometimes Circumstances force Us to stay where We are, for the moment. Sometimes the moments become a chore.
Rhinos are a tough crew, and although We may mutter, We do our best to play by the rules.
The Festivious Rhino…
‘Your Inner Rhino’ has done a great deal of research on our Readers’ ideas of jolly holidays. So We Rhinos are making one up on our own. We call it “Take Your Canary to Work Day”.
This idea is most useful for Readers with canaries. But you could probably substitute a hamster or catfish.
Every special day must have had a beginning somewhere, and why not today?
