Sisyphus was doomed to roll a rock up a hill, and when he let it go, down it rolled, damning him to repeat his effort, forever.
Rhinos are familiar with such Procedures; We see that our Course of Action does not work, and never will, but do We find another response? Sadly, seldom.
Does this make sense? No. Who supposed it might?
Curiosity is an omnipresent force which Rhinos must confront, and often. We are interested in Why things are this way or that, right from the get-go.
Naturally, We never get a thoroughly satisfactory answer, so you might think We’d drop the whole business.
But Why would We stop asking Why?
This is a Reminder that today is National Cake Day! Rhino Observations and Insights seem unnecessary, since Everybody knows how to celebrate such a momentous occasion.

Need We say more?
Rhino Recall is a pretty random system. We remember this or that from Yesterday, and a Something or Two from the day before perhaps, but that’s about it. Today is generally demanding enough.
So, a week from now, We will have misplaced Today. In a week, how much difference will Today make? Mostly, not much.
Sort of comforting, yes?
Rhinos like to remind our Friends that no Recipe, either culinary or social, is delightful for every palate.
Formulas have their limits.
“Some limbs and a horn or two do not a Rhinoceros make.”
No two Rhinos are truly the same, however similar We may look. We have things that make Us recognizable, but ultimately We are utterly distinct. Each of Us is made Unique by the combination of Essence, Training, Experience, and Time. Same-ish perhaps, but no two the same.
It probably matters who is reviewing matters. And why.
All Critters need to eat; that’s just a fact. Some eat plants, some eat other Critters, keeping things shipshape.
Nature’s system is elaborate, inconceivably so… still, Rhinos eat what We are assigned, and in turn, We will be eaten. It’s a cycle.
And all Critters die and nourish the earth that grows the plants. Mighty slick arrangement, if you ask Us. Everybody wins.
We sometimes get questions about the mumbling We Rhinos are prone to. It is so common that We don’t remark upon it amongst ourselves.
Muttering is part of a running interior dialogue each Rhino maintains during consciousness, keeping track of developments. Sizing things up. Pondering the “what ifs”.
Generally speaking, there is no marked emotional component to mumbling. As We say, with Rhinos it is the Norm.
Your Inner Rhino
