IQ

Interspecies Testing is often disappointing. When Humans ask Rhinos questions, the questions seek Human answers. If the roles were reversed, Human would be as nonplussed by the questions as We are.

One thing that Rhinos try to avoid is Random Mental Clutter (RMC). Presence of mind is a Rhino Essential, so trivia does not usually profit Us anything. We are Naturally informed.

When it comes to thoughts, We feel that less is more. Often.

Getting it in gear

Exactly how We Rhinos formulate Decisions, We cannot say. By far, the majority seem to spring out of the blue, urging Us forward to activate that Decision, whatever it may be.

It might be tempting, perhaps, to think that Decisions are the result of an insightful, informed cerebral process.

Frankly, We Rhinos are not the living proof of that. Nor are many other critters, as far as We can tell.

Attitudinal Largesse

No matter how Grand our fancies, We Rhinos are a down-to-earth crowd. How ever self-confident We may be, and with every good reason, We are not given to Pride.

In fact, We avoid particular Attitudes. This is because Rhinos are somewhat Mercurial: Hotsy-totsy one minute, and Down-and-dirty the next.

We are quick to shift gears, which is a sign of either mental agility or unusual circuitry. We’ve never figured out which.

Troubling Thoughts

Some Rhinos are prone to Random Fretting, while others are generally Placid.

Worrying can be enjoyable, if We are wired that way. And often, We won’t have to fuss over that same topic again, so We can apply our creativity to a new angst. Concerns refer to situations without a known outcome, requiring alertness.

We are not discussing dealing with Problems, which have Solutions. We are discussing Anxiety as a Hobby.
