Cancelled Plans are part of the great scheme of things. Insurmountable Circumstances intervene, and We must press on.
But Rhinos are not uniformly Gracious in the face of Postponements. We will have the occasion, but just not Now.
We can only tap our toes and drum our digits. And await Clarification. Nuts.
Each and every Rhino is a Genius, though no two of Us are Spectacular in just the same way.
We Rhinos are a species with an enormous range of Individualities. Depending on what We look for as Marks of Distinction, We uncover a different Genius. This Rhino may be no good at This, but is Astoundingly Sensitive to That, etc., etc.
One by one, Rhinos just seem Delightful. Add Us all up, and you have a formula for Stupenditude. Times three.
Persistent inquiries into Rhino Boudoir Proceedings have prompted Us at “Your Inner Rhino” to address the matter in ways familiar to our Readers.
We have enlisted recognized traditional authorities to elucidate, and feel that should be sufficient for our Readers’ needs.
Let’s all press on to other less ticklish matters.
There is a certain mystique to the way each of Us Rhinos addresses Life’s Many Experiences. So many complex decisions, choices, options. Go left, right, up, down? Who can tell?
Since Logic often confuses Us, Rhinos are dependent on our Inner Guide. We proceed and hope for the best.
As a system for combatting Confusion, this works as well as any Rhinos know of. That said, We do watch our step.
No Rhino is free from Delusions; they come with the Territory. How We see ourselves is simply not going to agree with our Mom, or the neighbors, or our siblings. Each of Us is working away on ourselves, each as a project with mystical, individualized ingredients. We inhale ourselves.
Rhinos try to bear in mind that what each of Us sees in the mirror is different from anybody else, be it the casual glance or the scrutiny of the censorious. Knowing this, We try to cut other Rhinos some slack.
It helps to know how little We know, so We know how valuable our opinions may be.
Rhinos like to think We know where We’re going, and We strut out on Life’s Boulevards accordingly. But as often as not, We find that either 1) We didn’t know where We were going or 2) things have gotten changed around somehow. Either, or both, ideas could be true.
The most Useful, and least often Used, Solution is to ask directions along the route. Most Natives will tell Us the way, assuming they know it themselves.
Lessons in Humility are probably good for Rhinos, even if We don’t like them much.
Because our sleeping patterns are so unpredictable, Rhinos need to get into Dream Mode with no delay. When We close our eyes, our dreaming mechanisms crank right up.
We are always surprised to learn that this is not a universal solution, but then, We are on duty 24/7, in various States of Awareness. ‘Semper Rhino’ is not just an easy-peasy slogan.
One nice thing is, Rhino dreams are almost all pleasing and rejuvenating. For which We are grateful. We wake up sassy, and stay that way.
Rhino History is filled with accounts of Rhinos responding to Nature’s many merry pranks. In the Wild, which is where Rhinos have always lived, Nature is capricious, so our job is to pay close attention to Nature’s signals, then salute, and then get out of the way.
The main lesson We have had from an extensive past is to keep an eye on the Exit Plan.

Yes, We Rhinos get to be Big Critters all right. Pretty Majestic, all things told. Demurely Monumental.
But Inside, We are as fizzy as ever, holding dear the discoveries and thrills and attachments of childhood.
On those delights, We retain a powerful grip.
We Rhinos are aware that there are a lot of Hazards available for Us, whether We know just what they are or not. Some are simple, some complex, but Life is full of surprises. That’s how Nature sets it up, and that’s all We need to know.
Rhinos don’t need the stress of hourly panic, but We need to watch our step.
Edgy, that’s what We get. Yeah, edgy. So We pay attention.
