Adolescence has many complex components for the youngster going through it. Also the adults who witness it. Adolescence places demands on all concerned.
Everyone is confused, anxious, conflicted and impatient. One chilly comfort is: Nobody has ever gotten Adolescence right.
Even Rhinos need a lot of time to get accustomed to Nature’s singular sense of humor.
Here is today’s YIR Quiz! Is the plant on display 1) an Anyphosnic or 2) a Pnosimachy or 3) a Symphonica?
The answer is: Who cares? The flower is unto itself, a plant full of vitality, with charms, none of which require definition or description. Its Being is the issue, not how to capture it and confine its potential. We cannot own or limit it.
That’s how Rhinos see our own part in Nature’s scheme. As does the Ladybug.
It’s Full Moon Time. It’s hard to quantify Glorious, at least for Us Rhinos, but We’d say Extravaganza-Glorious is about right.
There is a lot of Rhino Lore that deals with the Moon, and Rhinos love tales, myths and legends. Who doesn’t?
Perhaps the favorite R Concept is that all our Loved Ones go there to meet up, once they pass on. We all rejoice in knowing that so much of the affection We have ever felt is resident up there, glowing in the night sky. And in time, We will be there too.
Rhinos have often debated the meaning of Progress. Are We falling behind, or leaping ahead? Are We closer to Perfection, or perhaps falling short of the Ideal?
We have difficulty because We compare ourselves to a slithery idea, a memory, and try to see the state of things around Us as stable, which it isn’t.
Perhaps the concept of Progress is meaningless, an ideal which Rhinos cannot apply to our own brief lives.
Having a hanky is good if you plan to have ice cream on a warm day.
If you forget a hanky, you can always use a sleeve.
Rhinos are good at ‘alternative solutions’.
June through August is Monsoon Season in Nepal, as you doubtless are aware. This is an occasion for great rejoicing among the natives, of which, We Rhinos are certainly some.
The afternoons provide a delightful daily deluge, and all the Greenery spreads itself wide, getting a serious Drink.
Then Plants grow and flourish, providing many of Us with serious fodder, which makes Rhinos grow and flourish. Nature’s systems: Unbeatable.
Rhinos are not equipped for roadmaps. We might find one, but what to do with it is mysterious.
Roadmaps are not easily digestible.
Easier by far to follow our nose: Standard Rhino Practice (SRP).
Rhinos have not made many inroads in the field of Astro-Numerology. We are hampered by our inability to count beyond 3, which puts a damper on it all.
What We like is all the starry trappings that go with Astro-Numerology, at least as Rhinos imagine it. Much whooshing and ba-booming, and twinkles and starbursts.
Ultimately, the idea of decrypting the Future is not Very Rhino. We have all We can manage in the Present.
Once there were 3 sisters, named Rhonda, Rhumba, and Rholexa. They went to lunch by crossing a bridge. They returned home the same way.
So the question is, was this one round trip each day, or three (or six) trips over three (or six) different bridges at three (or six) different times, each day?
Exactly what happened would not be established by any one sister’s report vs another’s. Thus, a conundrum, i.e., a something to think about. For Us.
Rhinos do not intentionally Lurk.
But sometimes it just comes out that way.
