Rhinos do not shop as our Readers do. Rhinos go from here to there, selecting and devouring whatever vegetation looks promising at the moment. We have a wide variety of plants that go down with ease. Healthy appetite, healthy digestion.
One thing about our Produce: it’s always fresh. And in season.
Dreams are always somewhat weird, let’s face it. Usually it’s a series of unrelated experiences in the Land of Nod. This dream, then that.
But every once in a while, We have the same dream over and over in a night. We wake, We sleep, but when We dream, it’s the same old dream, part 47. So what’s with that?!?
Darned if We know.
Many young Rhinos are Naturally endowed with a fair share of Sass, a form of Defiance usually associated with dealings with Authority. Adult Rhinos give a little rope for these shenanigans.
That said, Rhino Patience has limits.
The result is usually ‘Sass Curtailed‘, a revised understanding of Rhino Decorum.
It’s hard to figure out just what makes a particular patch a Perfect Place to hang out. One Rhino’s idea of Bliss is different from another’s, and a Haven is always individualized.
It’s nice when you find the right spot, for sure.
Rhinos in the Wild can live into their 30s, but events often shorten our life span, Naturally. The longest lived Rhino on record today has made it to 50- in captivity. That is all Nature allots Us.
Rhinos and Lobsters seldom cross paths, for obvious reasons. What you may not know is that Lobsters can live Forever. Really, no joke. Left alone and free from injury or disease, there is no Natural reason for them to die- Ever. They are unique that way.
Look it up. We did and were impressed, for sure.
February 3 was Ferdinand Magellan’s birthday, back in 1480. He is remembered for sailing around the world, the first ship to manage it. He himself did not complete the voyage (1519-1522), having been killed in the Philippines. The ship was then captained by Juan Sebastian Encano. But Magellan did the legwork, so he gets the credit.
We Rhinos are not clear on how Sr. Magellan managed it, with a flat earth. But stranger things have happened. Frequently. Daily, and often hourly.

A YIR Reader asks about Alien Life Forms here on Earth. We Rhinos have no good reason to doubt they exist, here or elsewhere. We have no visible proof to offer for Beauty or other subjective evaluations; why insist that Aliens conform to our Earthly Expectations?
For all We know, they are around Us all the time, attending to their Alien Agenda. Possibly they help Us out now and then. Why fuss about it?
“We shall see what We shall see” is the Rhino Approach to these issues.
Rhinos are curious critters. We like to know things, to find things out. For instance, where do Moods come from, sunny or sour? Where do these mindsets spend their time before making themselves known?
We have arrived at no Conclusion thus far, which is standard for most Rhino Investigations. But should that forestall further Examination?
Answer: No.
Tonight the full Moon is very close to Earth. All sensible critters of any bulk will find something to cling to. The Tidal Pull of the Moon may strike at any moment, and away We will sail. Up, up and away.
That may sound like fun, but let’s be sensible; how do We get home again?

Structure guarantees Organization and things working according to Schedule. Structure guarantees Peace of Mind and a good night’s sleep.
What Structure seldom provides is a sense of Merriment and Pizzazz. Those Experiences do better in a Haphazard Wingding Environment.
