Perhaps today is your Birthday!? And if so, why not enjoy it to the Max?! Throw yourself a party and scintillate.

We Rhinos are an intensely Musical Bunch. Toss out a few notes, and We are activated, humming, tooting, and vocalizing. Oh, and stomping.

Each Rhino spends the day Eating and Pondering. Rhinos are gifted multi-taskers, and produce a wealth of thoughts as We browse. Impressions stream forth, holding our attention for various lengths of time.
Some of our thoughts are complex, many are trivial. Likewise, some are old and familiar, others are unexpected and stimulating. Each gets due consideration.
We enjoy this Contemplative Rigmarole. Are Rhinos alone in this Cavalcade of Awarenesses? Probably not.
Even at ‘Your Inner Rhino‘, how Tomorrow is going to go is anybody’s guess.
Too many variables.
Plus, Rhinos like surprises, and Tomorrow usually supplies them in abundance.
When it comes to Rhinos being Rhinos, One thing We never leave out of the recipe is Sass.
Sass has some negative connotations, We admit. A little too much spin on the ball perhaps. A sense of immunity to Social Conventions. A little goes a long way.
Like it or not, We Rhinos got it, and make the most of it. Stand back.

Today YIR recognizes Sheridan Le Fanu, b. 1814 in Ireland. He is best remembered for his impact on horror tales, developing mood and a sense of dread in his readers. Many of his techniques are still common in suspense literature.

It should come as no surprise that Rhinos are naturally thoughtful and kind, which are the precepts behind all mannerly behavior.
Courtesy takes a little of the Wild out of the Wild.
Fact: We Rhinos are fascinating. It’s hard for Us to get over ourselves.
But We at YIR thought We might point out that everything We see, or ‘achieve’, or have, is just a flimsy layer perched upon the Enormity of the Earth itself. The Planet’s Stupenditude takes the cake, and We are just specks by comparison, both in body and cosmic impact.
Minerals are the underpinning of the whole Shebang, as we know it.
