‘Time Outs’ for Us Rhinos, are usually associated with a rock, next to which the moody Individual has to stand. (We don’t have corners to go sit in.)
That Rhino stands there until a sense of Shame has made itself evident.
Or until it’s time for lunch.
Rhinos always feel that a Point of View can flavor Experience, which is, after all, what it’s all about, right?
Now and then We find that our individual Repertoire of POVs needs refreshing. What has a Rut got to recommend it?
Consequently We are always in the market for a new Frame of Mind.
Rhinos cannot count beyond 3 and feel confident. So today We speculate and surmise only.
Vigintillion is a number, taken to the 63rd power. It is a lot. In Mathematical Theory, it is the Biggest Number Ever.
What We Rhinos would like to know is: What happens if you get Two Vigintillions? What number is that? OR what if X is a Vigintillion, disguised as a letter? Hmm?
There seem to be two popular ways for knowing how hot things are. They are called Centigrade and Fahrenheit. Depending on where you are or who you’re with, or who made the thermometer, you get different readings.
Rhinos are generally content with “Sizzling, isn’t it?”, “Could it get hotter, I ask you?”, and “Is there enough glare to suit you?”. None of these is memorable, but they cover our needs.
Warm’s warm, etc. Yes? Take a sniff or peer around; it’ll come to you.
Early Onset Pumpkin Fever… it ain’t pretty, but it does come with its own sweet sense of Anticipation.
Some Rhinos just whack our way into the Holidays, while others muse over their Holiday Efforts for weeks.
Does one Approach seem better than another? Perhaps, and perhaps Not; We might be tempted to say that it depends on the Results.
But Rhinos feel strongly that the Results can only be assessed in relation to the goals of the particular Artist. Right? The Artist alone defines the Art.
Every Rhino wonders why one Critter seems like a good Pal, while another doesn’t.
These Attractions, however pleasant and enduring, don’t really yield up their secrets. We Rhinos just chalk them up as a Gift.
And We enjoy the kindred spirit of Friendship We share.
An occasional pastime with Us Rhinos is “What’s-It-Gonna-Be?”. We choose another Critter, and weigh the advantages or disadvantages of other Ways of Life.
What’s involved in being a Lemur, or an Armadillo, or a Polar Bear? Each Critter has things to recommend it, its pros and cons.
What is miraculous is how every Rhino on record has concluded that being a Rhino is the very best Fate. Big Surprise.
It is not that We Rhinos can do every conceivable stunt. However, there are few We cannot embrace in spirit. Why not enjoy that exhilaration?
Oddly enough, the earlier in our history We make that Leap of Engagement, the less it seems like it was a Fantasy; it often becomes part of our History, a character feature or accomplishment.
Thus We are not just as Amazing as We first appear; there are whole Chapters of our Involvement that occupy the Limitless Realms of Imagination!
Rhinos do all that We can to avoid Stressful Situations (which are bad for our Health). Are We universally successful in these efforts? Obviously, not entirely. What critter is?
