And many Merry Moments!!
Very Best wishes from “Your Inner Rhino” today, just like every day.
It should be obvious that Rhino Minds are not oriented toward Things, since We cannot own them, or transport them, or do anything much beyond eating them, when advisable.
That does not mean that We are disinterested in Mood Rocks. We like the idea of them, but have to let it go at that. Intellectual Curiosity, they call it.
Certainly saves on Clutter, that’s for sure.
Rhinos enjoy such a turbulent variety of Mental States that We can’t always define the line between Imagination and Premonition. Our History is top-heavy with Forebodings and Vibrations, many of which turned out to be Useful. Or at least Entertaining.
In action, these Signs strike, like an Accident, with speed and precious little warning. We are in Mental State #A, and then, WHACK, We are in Mental State #J.
Being Rhinos, We take whatever is delivered, and are glad to get hold of it. Yet another excellent and practical Rhino Policy.
There are occasions when a Rhino hears something so Stupid, or ill-Informed, or needlessly Unkind, that all one can do is Squint. Rational discussion would be wasted.
There seems to be a clear invitation to Argue, but the real Cosmic Test is to keep quiet and breath deep.
Rhinos are grateful for highly developed Squint Muscles. We need them.
Rhino-ness has some challenges, We have to admit. Not the least of those is how Insightful and Experienced We are, not only individually, but as a species. That’s how it seems to Us, certainly. One way or another, Rhinos just seem to always have the Answer.
Our Problem is that for some reason We can seldom find anybody who wants to ask the Questions.
Every now and then a Rhino gets embroiled in an unpredicted mess. Not a catastrophe, but an awkward situation, a pivot point of tensions. A case where the Rhino is unprepared.
In these prickly moments, Rhinos question themselves. “What possessed me to be here at this time?”.
Ah yes, Education always comes at a price. Ask anybody.
We sometimes get questions about the mumbling We Rhinos are prone to. It is so common that We don’t remark upon it amongst ourselves.
Muttering is part of a running interior dialogue each Rhino maintains during consciousness, keeping track of developments. Sizing things up. Pondering the “what ifs”.
Generally speaking, there is no marked emotional component to mumbling. As We say, with Rhinos it is the Norm.
