Every Rhino wonders why one Critter seems like a good Pal, while another doesn’t.
These Attractions, however pleasant and enduring, don’t really yield up their secrets. We Rhinos just chalk them up as a Gift.
And We enjoy the kindred spirit of Friendship We share.
On any topic, in any situation, there are a gazillion Variables to assess. No matter what Conclusion We arrive at, there is usually a lurking doubt, here and there. The Big What-Ifs?
Rhinos like to be Decisive and Dynamic. But that does not make Us Right.
Sadly.
Where does the line establish itself between Exhilaration and Addiction? Ah, who can say? Rhinos are generally an Enthusiastic Crowd; setting limits is not easy.
The Gavotte is a fine example of such a Mania. It was v. popular some time ago, and has never let its Luster dim. We Rhinos are still refining our Technique; our Style has never been wanting, as you may have suspected.
However We might define our Dedication to it, the Gavotte delivers Satisfaction, every time. Ask anybody.
Rhinos do all that We can to avoid Stressful Situations (which are bad for our Health). Are We universally successful in these efforts? Obviously, not entirely. What critter is?

Our Best, that’s what.
Everybody knows that Java is probably the most fertile place on Earth. And what makes it so Fertile is not only the weather and rainfall, but the Volcanic Ash which regularly rains down on the island, enriching the soil.
Some of Us Rhinos have lived on Java for a long time, and nobody much likes Volcanic Fallout. Still, once things settle down, plants go berserk. Salad Galore.

Rhinos are a Curious Crowd, and sometimes feel driven to satisfy our Curiosity. It’s an Urge that wants Scratching.
But a Word to the Wise: Don’t go visit the Beast in its Lair.

Transformations are really the norm of Nature. We have the Before-the-Sneeze, and then, shortly after, the Post-Sneeze. We have the Onset of Adolescence, and then later, the Fade-out of Adolescence. And so on, each experience tinting our thinking, sometimes Dramatically. Sometimes not.
Take it or leave it, each Rhino is a Work in Progress. Inside and Out. Seldom on a schedule We control.
We want to remind our Readers that for every day of Human History, Rhinos have been here as a family. Plus, in one form or another, another 50 million years or so.
Happy Times and Less Happy Times.
‘Proprioception’ is the Awareness of Where our body parts are at any given moment, how they got there, and our Location on the Balance Beam of Life.
Rhinos do not spend a lot of conscious effort on our Proprioception. We are too busy pondering other Cosmic Issues.
But it’s a handy word to toss around; it impresses our Public.
When encountering wet weather, Rhinos find it expeditious to check the depth of Puddles before proceeding.
