From time to time, even the most stouthearted Rhino may acquire an ailment of one sort or another. It is at times like these that We must exercise stamina. We must persevere.
We must be Patient, as it were.
Talk about a challenge!
In the Wild, where Rhinos mostly live, mirrors are in short supply. So Moms often have to supply information as best they can. For some reason, RhinoTots find mouths endlessly fascinating, so these familial exams are not uncommon.
The casual Reader may better understand the situation if you try to look into your own mouth without mechanical aid. See? Or rather, don’t See, right?
Rhino Education, cutting edge, every time.
When visiting unaccustomed locales, Rhinos must pay close attention to the Vegetation. Sometimes a plant has a come-hither quality that is hard to resist. Sometimes toooo hard to resist.
And wouldn’t you just know, the RTourist ends up Unhappy.
No matter where or when, Rhinos have to listen to those little warnings that Nature provides.
Rhinos are naturally gifted with ear fringe, but to keep it looking its best, We partake of Herbal Teas. These are created with water and vegetable goodness, varying the recipe with needs and weather conditions at the time.
Rhinos like to attend to the details of our toilettes. It’s just how We are.
Nowadays Rhinos (all five families) live in warmish places. Some are warm and dry, others warm and moist. Either way, precipitation varies with the seasons.
Given that Rhinos are flexible, We work with what We get, where We get it. And when.
FYI: Rhinos do not sweat as other critters do. We have our own secret system.
We are aware that Rhino tails are the envy of many critters, including those that don’t have them. We cannot account for this advantage, but We certainly can be grateful for it.
One secret of maintaining a tail is dietary. Greens is the Magic Elixir. Not only do We feel better, but We also appear to advantage.
Though We appreciate all out parts, it might be that tails are our favorites. But there are a lot to choose from.
October 2 is Marie Antoinette’s birthday, 1755. She was a Fashionista, if ever there was one. Unlike Us Rhinos, she didn’t just dream this stuff up; she actually wore it around the house. That house was a palace or two, she being Queen of France.
She was an enthusiast about Cake, and recommended it whenever she was asked.
Rhinos don’t come with a Maintenance Manual. However it is We work, or whatever is going on inside, in the Wild each Rhino just uses the sense they have, and hopes for the best.
Nature does provide each of Us with a remarkable range of Instincts. Learning to balance and rely on those Instincts takes time and dedication. It is a fund of knowledge which must be honored.
The critter that knows better is often the one that dies young. Sorry, but it’s so.
Rhinos are willing to believe that the moon has influence on the Tides, shoving them around at will. That said, just what is the Moon up to inside Us, where We can’t see?
As with so many questions, this one may trickle on for some time before We get an answer worth knowing about.
Which presumes that knowing about something means it’s under Rhino Control. Nonsense, in many flavors, with or without nuts.
