Charles Dickens’ short novel, “A Christmas Carol” (1843), centers on a sour grape named Scrooge. When faced with nonsense or good cheer, Scrooge’s response is, “Bah, Humbug!”
This phrase may be coming back into style, given all the nonsense Rhinos hear around Us.

Mr. Charles Dickens (b.1812) was a mega-star Victorian author. His stories are complex and his cast of characters is astoundingly rich. His work has great dramatic flair.
Rhinos are interested in his focus on the underprivileged and vulnerable, demanding that these folk need support. Mr. Dickens was influential in raising public consciousness, and that is always time and effort well spent.

Today is National Chopsticks Day, just to remind you. While Rhinos enjoy your enjoyment, We don’t find chopsticks useful; they require a dexterity which We lack. Also, they are not good for grass in bulk.
They may be good for knitting, but Rhinos can’t do that either.

Hiccups happen, as you probably are aware. Rhinos bear with them when they must, having no other option.
The question is, are hiccups contagious? Does one Rhino’s hiccup transfer itself by some convoluted system? Do hiccups have an incubation period?
At the rate this Rhino Investigation has been moving, We may never know.
Rhinos, resilient as We are, are not without Feelings. When a Feeling gets hurt, We have an uh-oh situation. Feelings are an unpredictable and volatile gang.
What’s tricky is: when a Feeling refuses to mend, it becomes a Resentment, which is Not Good.
Rhinos are not at our best when Crabby.
Rhinos are not prey to Envy. Almost ever. Still, it’s easy to understand that We are on the receiving end of a lot of Envy from round and about. It’s the price We pay for feeling good about ourselves.
What We say is: You can dress it up any way you like, but Envy is never pretty.
