It is true that Your Inner Rhino specializes in Trivia, but isn’t that what it’s all about?

Twice the Event!!

4-1 CakeWalk

Today is April Fool’s Day, as you Readers are probably aware. Ho-Ho-Ho Hee-Hee, We giggle, appreciating Tomfoolery as all Rhinos do.

But Also, it is Your Inner Rhino’s celebration for our 500th Posting! 500 is close to half of a million (Right?) so that is a lot of stuff. What is reassuring for Us is that so much subject matter remains to be investigated in your company.

Your support makes our mission that much more enjoyable. So, Thank You, 500 Times.

On tippy-toe

1-21 InklingsInklings are elusive and unpredictable. All of a sudden, one will make itself known. Whence they come is hazy. Their whole business is mysterious, because inklings don’t get very specific as a general rule. We are munching along, and Whammo!, an Inkling! Of what?, you might ask. Dunno, say We.

They come in many sizes and flavors, but at a certain point of development they morph into Intimations. Or they go into hiding and We can’t recall what it was We were inkled about.

Very tricksy, Inklings.

Eating Out

1-1 DiningOut

In the Wild, Nature caters every meal. That may sound monotonous, but that is not the case.

Plant life is changing all the time, in cycles. Today Veggie A is healthy, two weeks from now is drooping, and in two months seems dead. The Moral: if you find it tasty, eat it now before it’s too late. (Eating now is always good policy.)

Happily, as Veggie A withers*, Veggie B is blooming, and merry mealtime alternatives present themselves. Thus Nature provides, not only for Us Rhinos, but for all critters out here doing our thing. Year round.

Talk about Seasons’ Greetings!

* (For those of you fretting about Veggie A, it will be back when the time is right. That’s how Nature handles these matters.)
