Doubt is a key ingredient to Rhino Thought. We think We know something, but then again, maybe We left out some data, or a bit of wisdom which would sway our Conclusions.
So We pause for a jiffy to weigh the situation.

Charles Dickens’ short novel, “A Christmas Carol” (1843), centers on a sour grape named Scrooge. When faced with nonsense or good cheer, Scrooge’s response is, “Bah, Humbug!”
This phrase may be coming back into style, given all the nonsense Rhinos hear around Us.
Bah, Humbug!… very useful.
Rhinos always pay attention to one thing or another; it’s one of our skill sets. Our minds roam freely from one level of Reality to another, often without a pause of any kind whatsoever.
The answer to the next question is: yes, We can be a few places at once, here, there, now, then.
Rhinos have plenty of practice. We are wired for it.
Hello from Iceland, where Nature goes to vent frustration. Wait around a bit, and Ba-Boom, it’s Geyser Time. Up shoots a jet of boiling water. Mighty Impressive.
There is something therapeutic about seeing a Natural Tantrum.
Rhinos are plenty adaptable to circumstances; We have had to be for multi-millions of years. Sometimes things look rosy, sometimes not so rosy.
When Nature changes things up, We seek opportunities to adapt ourselves, or possibly relocate.
Boxed in, We make do with what’s available. Rhinos endure, as best We can.
Keeping Secrets from other folk is not all that tough. The trick is keeping your mouth shut.
Keeping Secrets from yourself is harder and requires more resolution. Rhinos just need to keep reminding ourselves to Forget.
Not every critter can manage it.
Rhinos are oh-so-much into the spirit of Pie Day, snarfing up foods that make Us merry. We need a lot of food to keep ourselves in trim, and pie is always an attractive idea.
We do not actually have pie in the Wild, but We can conjecture pie at any time, with crust or without. All of our pies are vegetable pies, that being all We eat.

Sir Francis Bacon (b.1561) was an important fellow in England. But Rhinos recall him best for his theorizing about the Scientific Method. He would pose a question, and then by serious investigation he’d prove himself a) right or b) wrong.
Rhinos think of Critical Thinking as entirely Natural. Still, it startled people. Everything they needed to know was already known, wasn’t it?
But some people had another idea: What if traditional answers were Incorrect? A Very Big Question, whenever it is posed. Right?
