Pressing forward…
Even when Life has delivered a body blow, We Rhinos must pull ourselves together and proceed. We get a few days to rearrange our mental furniture, then We suit up.
We may not feel Super, but We stand tall and fake it. With some luck, We are fooled ourselves, which is helpful.
If that doesn’t work, We try again Tomorrow. Gives Us something to look forward to.
Shell Shock
Cowardice is sometimes thought of as lack of courage in Stressful Situations. Shot Nerves are something else, and may simply indicate the limit of a Rhino’s ability to cope.
Feeling Worn Out may be a signal that that Rhino is Worn Out.
Getting Home?
Sometimes We can’t get home again, no matter where We are now. No road back there. It isn’t how the place is, but how We now see it.
Today We Rhinos are disoriented, and that is no treat.
Maybe now We need to pay closer attention.
Disappointments
When things do not go as We had hoped, even Rhinos are tempted to get discombobulated, inside.
It happens.

Ms. Tomlin has a lot of Inner Rhino going on there, We must say. Brilliant.
Cure-All City
When We Rhinos feel peculiar, We just look around for that bit of greenery that will do the trick. Two good sniffs, a bit of chomping, then Abracadabra; We’re set to go.
We are Nature’s Playthings, and proud of it.
May the Farce be with you…
One thing all Rhinos have in common is an addiction to a Good Laugh.
It all goes back a long way, so We guess it constitutes a Tradition, passed along to them who need it, which is all of Us. Humorless, things would just be too grim, right?
Right. Thus, We snort.

US President Calvin Coolidge retired from office in 1929. He was spoken of as “Silent Cal”, being a man of few words, or fewer. He was from Vermont.
His is an approach which might recommend itself to many modern political aspirants.
“Least said, soonest mended”, and all that.
Hear the firemen shout!
In 1871, Chicago had a Big Uh-Oh!, and a lot of the town went up in flames. The idea was that Mrs. O’Leary’s cow kicked over a lantern, but nobody knows that for certain.
