Bosom Buddies

Rhinos have always felt companioned in our daily dealings by Kindred Spirits. Different branches of the R Family have been often in sympathy with different critters. Over a course of fifty million years We’ve had multiple chums to select from.

This is primarily a spiritual bond, often long distance. In some cases an egret, in others a sea urchin, etc.

Pals can be an unpredictable crowd, at least that’s how Rhinos experience them.

Heavens!

Some Readers have mentioned the Zodiac and the Constellations that crowd the skies.  There they see fishes and bulls and mythological figures, all made up of stars and twinkles.

Rhinos spend less time on the Constellations. We have one major short-cut in “seeing” Constellations; for Us, all the Constellations are Rhinos. Roughly, one for each of us, ever.

It’s hard to argue with Rhino Logic, right?

FMT

It’s Full Moon Time. It’s hard to quantify Glorious, at least for Us Rhinos, but We’d say Extravaganza-Glorious is about right.

There is a lot of Rhino Lore that deals with the Moon, and Rhinos love tales, myths and legends. Who doesn’t?

Perhaps the favorite R Concept is that all our Loved Ones go there to meet up, once they pass on. We all rejoice in knowing that so much of the affection We have ever felt is resident up there, glowing in the night sky. And in time, We will be there too.

Equal Rights!

Wyoming (admitted to the country today, 1890) has a rich history. It is the there that the first women were elected justice of the peace, governor, and court bailiff- in the nation. Speaks of sensible thinking, at least that’s how Rhinos see it.

Almost half the land of Wyoming is held for the public to enjoy. The western 2/3 of the state are developments of the Rocky Mountains, and the eastern third is high plains. There are numerous mountain ranges, all of them pretty grand. And lots of national parks as well.

We salute Yellowstone National Park. Mighty fine- and astonishing too.

Rhinos are Naturally lucky. We are Rhinos, right? What more could We ask?

There are probably many other wonderful things to be, but in our experience, We’re mighty Marvelous. If Rhinos don’t celebrate Us, who’s going to do it?!

We trust this does not sound like arrogance; it isn’t. Its a simple holler of gratitude to Nature for its generosity.

Pom-Pom Misgivings

From time to time, Rhinos find ourselves in the vicinity of sporting events, much frantic activity and athletic endeavor. Exciting in an abstract way.

What is frustrating is our creeping awareness that We have no idea what’s going on, or why.

It looks like fun, so that is good. Maybe the rules are on a need-to-know basis. Right?

Ether this or that

Much of the time, We Rhinos assume We are holding it together. We play our assigned part, happily. We are orderly and thus, somewhat predictable.

However, in the face of Artistic Fervor, We expand and join the Muse in unpredictable magic. We become one with the greater Quintessence. We disintegrate as soloists and become one with the Whole Choir.

Pretty pleasant, when it happens.
