Holiday a la mode, Halloween.

We love the idea of dressing up. We have no clothing really, but much time is spent speculating over stylish possibilities. When you own nothing, it’s oh-so easy to make a selection- or three or five. Imagination is the Best Shoppe any day, plus We get a frantic range of accessories! Change the color, the character, whatever. Why not?

Also, We have no problems finding parking when shopping.

BTW, here at Your Inner Rhino We decided to celebrate human holidays with you. Rhino holidays are so numerous, and their meanings are so difficult to convey… well, it’s just easier to undertake yours. We Rhinos generally have about 73 holidays for every calendar day. Lots to celebrate! A gazillion years worth of Exhilaration.

Temper 10-23Ah, how lovely it would be if a whip and a chair could control the matter. We Rhinos have quite a reputation as peppery, and to some degree it’s justified. Our burden is our extreme sensitivity, our own artistical spirit, our reactivity to a slew of stimuli. Life in the Wild is unpredictable, and sometimes our nerves just punt Us over the edge. Generally We are placid, refined. Then, to our own astonishment, We are triggered by something-or-other, and We go ballistic. Then out pops some “Extreme Behavior”.

When the dust settles, We often have regrets. That, unfortunately, does not always rectify the situation. Thus in the Wild, We are often left alone to attend to our own business, undisturbed by other critters. That way, nobody needs to be sorry. Works for everyone.

“Caveat Interventor”. (Let the intruder beware). Ah, Latin! Pretty classy, huh?

DNA and its Merry Pranks

Here is something you can look up, in case it slipped your mind: Your DNA and ours is a lot alike. (We know this for certain just by sniffing you.) And it is that shared DNA that makes this blog so important. You have all this potential for joy right at your fingertips. You are already full of RhinoMatter. Ask anybody.

Not all our DNA is the same as yours, it’s true. That’s why you don’t look like Us. As far as the crucial Inner Parts, We are like you and you are like Us! So there is a revelation to make your day, for free!

We are very scientific animals, most especially when science proves Us right. Rest assured, on this blog, it always will. Funny about that.

We are not able to explain ourselves to You in a heartbeat. You can see that it would be a mighty task to explain or illuminate yourselves to another species, say Us, for instance.
