Attennnnnnnnn-tion!

All Rhinos appreciate a snappy Uniform, and can mentally elaborate them to suit temperament and fashion. In our mind’s eye, We acquire a debonair je ne sais quoi.

But Uniformity is a denial of all true Rhinotude. No two Rhinos are alike; We don’t aspire to it. Each of Us has gifts, evidence of Nature’s bounty.

Rhinos have much in common among themselves. But when it comes to presentation, why indulge in duplication?

Grim Facts of Life

George Orwell’s 1945 book, Animal Farm, is a chilling tale of animals that take over a farm, led by the pigs. In time, the cooperative slogans that united the animals, shift to favor the pigs.  Ultimately the worker animals are as badly abused as when the farm was run by humans.

The powerful work to maintain their power. No news there, then or now.

Disgruntlement

However fashionable Tantrums and Displays of Temper may currently be, Your Inner Rhino feels compelled to remind its Readers of an Olde Rhino Truism: If you behave too oddly, your head will pop off. Which you are likely to regret.

Rhinos may be impatient when confronted with irregularity, but We do not act up. Honestly.

Appearances

2-27suitingup853

Every Rhino has a full closet (imaginarily speaking) of optional daily get-ups, ways to appear for the world’s (and our own) assessment. When We see ourselves as Victims, We dress and think and act like Victims, and not surprisingly, We are treated as Victims.

This process can develop into a Lifestyle. No Rhino Seal of Approval is forthcoming. Sorry.

(Obviously, there are times when things are truly trying, which is not what We are talking about.)
