Rhinos are gifted at Impersonation; it’s a knack, and We have it! The picture provided today offers a fine example of our exotic abilities: this is a Rhino disguised as a Giraffe, not a giraffe in fact! Gotcha! (Do not be embarrassed, most everybody is fooled.)
But We Rhinos are not fooled. We may imitate some other critter, but We are Rhino down to the last fiber. A sniff alone would tell you.
Nature is not fooled either. Naturally.
Sig. Giacomo Girolamo Casanova, b. 1725 in Venice, is famous (or infamous) for his way with the opposite sex. He was also an author, traveler, fashionisto, and man of intrigue.
What no Rhino can forget about him is his exceptional gifts with Scent. Sig. Casanova knew how to do Damage in a crowded room, just by standing upwind.

In 1893, Ms. Mildred J. Hill and her sister, Ms. Patty Hill (b.today, 1868), got the copyright for a song called “Good Morning to You”, which every Rhino today knows as “Happy Birthday to You”.
Even the most tone deaf of Us can grunt along with this celebrated ditty, composed so that very young children could sing it.
The magic ingredient in singing it is Enthusiasm, not musicianship. At least, that’s how Rhinos see it.

Knitting is a fiber artform by which you can make a cardigan or socks or cap. Some of the results are attractive.
The knack is to take sticks and yarn and tweedle them in such a way that they form knots, etc., etc. It turns out Rhinos are not good at it. This may be the result of having only 3 digits per limb. We can usually triumph over such limitations, but knitting confounds Us.
This fact explains why you seldom see a tag inside a sweater saying “Knit by Rhino”.
As you may recall, the last line of this ditty is “Life is but a dream”, a Rhino sentiment if there ever was one.
Rhinos are not nautical in a literal sense, but We can go for a short cruise any time it strikes our fancy. That’s because it is an exercise in Imagination, not Seamanship.
Each of Us is our own Cruise Director, guaranteeing a fine time. Ahoy, Matey!
A few times a day (or an hour) We Rhinos get a burst of Pep. We welcome these spontaneous gear shifts as they propel Us along our Rhinoid path.

Rhinos prefer our pizza with slivered Radish- our condiment of choice. Radish makes Us happy.
