Rhinos do not study mechanics, as a general rule. That is not to say that We are unable to address our needs when pressed. On the other hand, our needs are few, and our capacities for contentment are legendary.
On a Seasonal Front: We ask ourselves, do April showers bring May flowers? The best answer Rhinos can offer is “maybe”.
Rhinos are not nearly so concerned with our exterior as We might be. Having neither mirrors nor powder puffs, our impression of ourselves reflects our mental state, our vision, and our self assurance.
Rhino paraphernalia is built in.
Rhinos don’t criticize lions for their diet. Why would We? Some critters are vegetarians, some are carnivores, and others scavenge. The point is always the same: What’s for dinner? No dinner, no tomorrow. So simple. Equal opportunity, equal hazard.
No critter decides what to eat. Nature has determined all the options for each critter.
Rhinos are wired to eat greenery only, or fruit on a good day. Beyond that, it’s a “no-thank-you-so-much”. Is there a problem here? Not with Rhinos there isn’t.
Rhinos are Nature’s philosophers; it’s just how We are made. (It may be due to our demi-Greek heritages.) Give Us a problem and We will mull it over, assuming it interests Us or We understand the question.
We do not bother to formalize our determinations however. We would be certain to change our conclusions sooner (likely) or later (less likely). Lack of documentation of our cogitations is a help, and saves wear and tear on the Environment.
Rhinos are Globally-Conscious if nothing else.
Rhinos have daily activities, all of which are self-explanatory to any living critter. We attend to those needs and let it go at that.
But there are Ideas that come a-creeping in when We are looking the other direction. And once an Idea gets going, it can go in about a zillion directions, each Idea spawning baby Ideas, putting rabbits to shame. Then Ideas start creating lists and charts and graphs, all celebrating the Big Idea, whatever that was.
Rhinos are not Idea Phobic. Or not entirely. Just much shadow of a doubt.
That’s your Inner Rhino at work! Each day, or every so often, each of Us Rhinos gets a fill-‘er-up of Rhinotude. We pause, and then, We get a Boost from Beyond, fair day or foul. Pretty marvelous, in more ways than one.
Attitude is Everything, and We got it!
One of the Rhino characteristics that allows Us to travel the world is our Serene Demeanor. Life in the Wild is sometimes astonishing, but it does not compare to the sights offered among the “Civilized”.
Were We not so unflappable, We would be in Meltdown Mode half the time.
Composed, that’s Us. At least mostly.
Occasionally Rhinos are asked why We don’t defend ourselves better from the hi-tech onslaughts of the World. We are always surprised, since the answer is obvious. There is no adequate defense against sophisticated weaponry, plus, We own nothing.
Where are the bragging rights in killing a defenseless critter, man or Rhino?
Rhinos must deal with Nature, daily. There We can stand our ground, win or lose. And We do. Unarmed.

It is sometimes thought that things “fall between the cracks”.
Rhinos do not fall between cracks; We march through them. It’s all a matter of style.
