It’s that time of year, so out come the Fireflies to do their thing.
Rhinos have tried in the past to make themselves glow this way, but it hasn’t been in the cards. Nice as it might be, We can’t have it all.
Welcome, you little marvels!
The Inner Rhino investigations of where Air comes from take Us to forest and jungly places where there are, by definition, scads of trees. It turns out that trees are not just decorative. They are busy making air which gets circulated around the world by the wind, probably. It is Nature making surprising things happen, which should be no surprise.
We don’t know just how the trees manufacture Air, but perhaps they are none too clear on it either. Maybe they don’t even know what they are accomplishing.
Nonetheless, We’re happy those trees are on the job. It’s a big world out here.
It might seem like a burden, marching forth slathered with praise and accolades galore. Fortunately, Rhinos are built for the task. Nature and Family History have prepped Us.
Occasionally somebody will suggest Humility to Us. For Us, Humility seems like a denial of our RhinoCentric approach to matters. What feels appropriate to Us is Celebration of our bountiful provision.
Maybe other critters have a lot to be be humble about?
Rhino Education would probably be more productive if We were better at paying attention in the first place.
Each moment is deluged with stimuli, much of it trivial, but still diverting. Here We are, frantically prioritizing our responses, when on comes another onslaught of impressions, rumors, puzzles, scents, etc. So much to evaluate and process! And this only accounts for the time when We are paying attention to anything whatsoever.
It is possible that if We paid attention to one Lesson a day, We might actually learn something concrete. We may never know…
Here We are again, that big June celebration!
We thought We should go over the recipe again, in case you forgot. You will need: 1) dirt and 2) water. These can be mingled in an infinite set of combinations to achieve your particular goals. Consistency is a matter of individual preference, ranging from dirty water to moistened earth. Feel free to add texture and variation with bits of plant or handfuls of gravel. Or fragrant bits and pieces of whatever is handy.
It’s a big World out there. Just add water! Then Partay!

Rhinos enjoy many advantages, being Observant, Insightful, and Ingenious. We naturally arrive at many interesting conclusions, each one riveting, especially to the Rhino that had that idea. It is exciting to excel mentally.
The problem is that it misleads Us into wanting to share these Dazzling Conclusions in the form of Advice.
The surprise is that it is so hard to find anyone who wants it, even piping hot.
