One virtue of Rhino Halloween finery is We do not limit ourselves to a single “Look”. We have a range of enthusiasms; why shouldn’t they be simultaneously acknowledged in our holiday getups?
This approach works for Us. Plus it’s easy to accessorize or enhance at any time.
You are Right: Rhinos accept No Limitations! You name it, We can comprehend it, at least mostly, or almost. Close works in so many areas of life, why not this one?
The featured ensemble works better in open spaces than in confined ones. Can’t have it all.
Strange, the lengths to which We will go for Candy Corn.
Some Critters have a feeble sense of Halloween Outfitting.
Still, some Rhinos really have the knack; We are called Costumiers, on the good days. We just sidle up and make wee recommendations from over the shoulder, and then “poof”, We’re gone. We are cunning as well as fashion-forward.
Not our style to interfere. Suggest perhaps, cluck & murmur, but not interfere.
Halloween is a fine time of year to exercise a Rhino’s skills as a Toad Whisperer. Toads are not always cooperative, but if we get the dates right, they will play along. If they won’t, it makes very little difference, as it’s all hypothetical in the first, and last, place.
One drawback of Toad Whispering is that Toads are not quick. One thing for sure, Toads do not scoot. If We want candy, We have to hope for passers-by to supply it. And flies, since it is a cooperative arrangement.
Toads have many Dark Secrets, but We don’t understand them- or remember them. Whether the Toads whisper or not.
One week until Halloween! It may be your holiday, but We Rhinos take it seriously. Choices & Decisions Galore. Heavens.
Happily, none of our costumes need to fit on a hanger or go the cleaner. Rhino outfits are entirely imaginary.
WereRhinos come in whatever color We like at the moment. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
When you are in touch with Your Inner Rhino, why would you ever proceed without strutting? It just doesn’t seem Natural somehow. So much there to bolster internal morale! Puts a spring in the step, a can-do in the heart, and a wiggle in the caboose.
Sometimes We tone it down, but inside, We’re strutting. That’s where it counts.

Now and again We Rhinos, even in Sumatra, think of all our friends and the endless opportunities they offer Us, and have offered Us in the past, and We get pretty whelmed.
This not so much about sentiment as appreciation.
