Rhinos like football, mostly because everybody is acting nuts. Acting nuts is one of our Rhino Specialties. We practice a lot.

Rhinos root for everybody, mostly because We can’t tell one team from another. Too confusing.

Readers will be happy to learn that no Fake Raccoons were inconvenienced in the creation of today’s post.

Rhinos are aware that Inventors are all over the place, inventing away, left, right and center. What they are inventing depends on who’s inventing what and why, etc.

Rhinos are fortunately so enchanted with things as Nature provides them that We only kid around about Inventings. What’s to invent that Rhinos are missing?

All species move at paces determined by Nature. There is Slow, there is Usual, and there is Snappy. Slow is for sleeping, Usual is for most-of-the-time, and Snappy is for when events demand Attention.

Every now and then, some joker says “pick up the pace”. We can’t just dimiss the idea out here in the Wild. We work with little clarifying data.

We need to go Now, that We do understand. Post Haste. Wild, huh?

Rhinos are not so much pugnacious as We are roughhousers. We enjoy pushing and being pushed. Substantiation.

Roughhousing is a skill like playing the ukelele or digesting radial tires or snowboarding. Capacity requires shaping into accomplishment.

Rhinos practice so We can Roughhouse without Consequences. One way adolescent Rhinos improve is by bashing into trees. In the Wild, the trees are strapping. And yes, so are We.

Art is there to consider, an invitation to participate with the artist. It’s not there to criticize.

We Rhinos think of Art as showing Us the things that have no names.

Every Rhino, Codfish and Grasshopper wants to know what the Future holds in store for them and theirs.

To date, We Rhinos have not come up with a reliable system. The only part We seem to have right is dressing for the experiment.

Otherwise, the Future is what it is. Baffling.

Plants have all sorts of seductive charms to heave at the unsuspecting Rhino. The Rhino browses along, and is somehow transported to a Magical Corner of the Self, where things are more special and enchanting.

Many times, they are more tasty too.

Your Inner Rhino has missed a day posting, but We had underestimated the toll that Groundhog’s Day would involve. The Anticipation, the Suspense, the Palpitations- it all exacted a price.

Rhinos are full of Fortitude and Endurance, but We are also Emotional and Passionate. Often that second set of characteristics takes precedence over the formar set. Emotions are marvelous, but they can wear a critter down.

Trust Us on that. We are still in Recovery.
