Most of our Rhino dealings are done with bells on and big feet. But there are Missions when We need to be invisible, undetectable. That’s how Missions work.

Happily, Rhinos have a fine method for Sneaking. We keep our eyes scrunched shut. Very tight. We can almost always navigate by nose or ear, both fine-tuned. If desperate, We peek, but only a teensy slit.

The scrunched eye makes Us Invisible! If We can’t see, We reason that We can’t be seen by anybody else. Showing once again that Logic is helpful in the Wild.

According to Hebrew tradition, the world is 5,775 years old, today. That is 3,761 BPE. So Time was inititiated then. Truly, “in the beginning”.

Calendars have been made from ancient times, and no two work exactly the same way. Calculation has been done with the sun and moon, and modern adjustments in dating are based on each original system.

Interesting. Interesting and Overwhelming.

In the Wild, We do not plan anything much in the way of what is where. Perhaps a wallow counts as a located Rhino-made creation, but the list would not be much longer, when it comes to sites-of-interest. In the Wild.

Towns have other imperatives, most of them incomprehensible to Us, but We do like to check up on City Life. We don’t pretend to understand, but Rhinos can surf the energy of it.

Then We go someplace Natural, and chill.

Appearances to the contrary, Rhinos are not nearly as concerned with our Outsides as our Insides. This is because We have almost no way to see ourselves objectively.

Besides, We have to live with Who is Inside each of Us. And what Who is dealing with at present, or What’s for lunch, or When did I decide this or that? Inside We are a really busy bunch, We Rhinos.

Outside We have the Wild, but honestly, that comes as sort of a relief after We’ve been dealing with our many multi-faceted Selves. Inside.

We Rhinos generally stride about, parading ourselves before the World with Confidence and Determination. However, that does not mean that We do not stray every now and again.

When We yield to Temptation, We try to be surreptitious about it. If We can fool other critters, We somehow feel that perhaps We were not as wicked as We thought, or maybe it never happened. We ourselves are fooled.

Rhinos are mostly Good, but sometimes We are Demi-Bad.

Panegyrics are beefy speeches given in praise of somebody or something, or something else. They were popular in Ancient Greece, where We Rhinos assume there was alot to applaud. It’s always pleasant when criticism is set aside, at least until tomorrow.

Panegyrics were delivered in Old Greek, so the other old Greeks could understand. Makes sense, when you think about it. Here is a sample of Old Greek, though it may be Greek to you already.

Heh, heh, say We Rhinos, sneaking around, wrapped in sheets.

Today has been Friday, a cause for some rejoicing, Rhinos are told. The 7-day week is full of surprises like this, the most pronounced being the number 7. Not a Rhino idea. No, Sir. Too tremendous.

But We like to join into the spirit of Good Times, whenever We see the opportunity. Hooray! is what Rhinos think.

February 14 was the day Oregon joined the Union in 1859 (as well as Arizona in 1912.) However, YIR dealt with Oregon on March 8, 2019, for some reason associated with Oregonians and their unusual ways. Glad We cleared that up.

Yesterday was the finale of the US State Tributes, having attended to them, one and all. We blush at the inability to cover every aspect of each state, but feel good about what We got done.
