Happily, there are no Detour signs in the Wild since We in the Wild can’t read.
The bigger thing is that We Rhinos are unpredictable in getting from where We are to the next place where We’ll be. We each wander at will, for our own odd reasons, and in our own good time.
A Detour only works if you have a Destination in the first place. Rhinos seldom do.
Your Inner Rhino 
We all have the same destination. However, the routes we take differ greatly. I have found that planning too far ahead, if at all, detracts from the surrendipitous delights to be found along the unplanned way. That street we’ve never taken often holds wonderful things to behold. “Wandering vaguely without accord” has its merits.
