M. Louis Braille, born 1809 in France, lost his sight in childhood. But by the age of 15, he had developed the system of reading named for him. It works by raised dots on a page.
Rhinos have eyesight, but it isn’t as acute a sense as scent or hearing. Or touch, which is what braille depends upon.

What I loved about this was how you made the whole skin of the rhino a study in braille! Brilliant!
