A Midsummer Night’s Dream is a fine play, genuinely funny. Puck is a free Spirit, independent, rambunctious, unpredictable, and cagey: entirely likable.
These traits are common among Rhinos, so We gravitate to characters who know about Mischief first hand.
Admittedly, Rhino understanding of Convention is somewhat limited.

Marrrrvelous!!
I’m so grateful for your Shakespeare series. Bravo!!
(The Timon of Athens one is sure to be a winner!!)

Timon may have to wait a bit. So many plays, so many characters… busy Rhinos, hither and thence.
Very glad you like them.

Perfect fodder for a midsummer night. I, too, thank you for this particularly puckish series.
So, I’m easily confused…Javan or Sumatran?
Love the art!

Glad you asked! Puck is a Sumatran Rhino, being fuzzy and having two smallish horns. They are the smallest of extant Asian Rhinos, maxing out at about a ton.
The only Javan Rhino of recent blogging is from Aug. 26, about Krakatoa. Javan Rhinos are the rarest, native only to dense jungle. They are closely related to Indian Rhinos, smaller (1.5- 2 tons) and with smoother skin.
