Rhinos don’t allow other critters (or relatives) to determine the pulse and direction of our daily dance steps or state of mind. We each do our Rhino thing. With gusto. What sensible Rhino would let somebody else control the Happiness Button? Really.
Feeling Good is a Rhino responsibility, each of Us for each of Us every day.
Cha cha cha.

Hello, I am a recent convert to your rhino blog. I read about it in the Wesleyan alumni magazine. I enjoy your illustrations however I must say I am a bit confused about what exactly “rhinodom” and the spirit of rhinos means. Would you care to elaborate? Thank you!

I am pleased that you are looking at Your Inner Rhino. Rhinodom to Rhinos is the same as Mankind is to our Readers. The concept is both sweeping and inclusive, from major topics to more individual concerns. I hope that a close reading of the 400+ entries (to date) will help you. Also, I recommend reading the “About” section, which addresses our goals. So many facets to the Rhino Dynamic! Sort of overwhelming frankly. Please do stick with it; you will begin to see your very own Inner Rhino. Honest. Than which, few experiences could be snappier.

Of course I ‘m glad you like the pictures. Try each one as being worth a thousand words, and that may help you out. Rhinos are not on earth to be easily comprehended, anymore than the folks any Reader knows. If you think of each Rhino as having scads of facets, like a mirror ball, you can see that “getting it” may not be the point. Or even a possibility. The Rhinos in the pictures resonate with you because of human commonalities with Rhinos. Enjoy that, and let understanding catch up when it does.
