In 1492 a meteorite landed near Ensisheim, a small village in Alsace in NE France. It is the first recorded meteorite impact witnessed and recorded. Rhinos have seen lots of Events, some long lasting, others momentarily spectacular. Frankly, it never occurred to Us Rhinos that anybody would care, unless somebody We knew was where it landed.

Rhinos, along with everybody else, call this the Ensisheim Meteorite. Must have made quite an impression, both on the terrain and the public.
