Hunger is a reality in the Wild. Seasonal or weather anomalies can affect the plants We eat. As the plants fail, so do We.
Starvation is one system Nature employs for keeping population numbers controlled. That is how things are. None of Us is immune.

Thank you. I am daily reminded and astonished at how small/great the gap is between us and every other animal on the planet. Being human masks so many elements of experience. Daunting. Well, at any rate, it daunts me.
