We sometimes get distracted, and overlook the pleasures We get from having a tail. Useful, decorative, expressive, sensitive, responsive… what more could one ask of a body part? There should be a little song We sing in appreciation, but words fall short.
So we hum.

I have often been jealous of creatures with tails. They look like they’d be so much fun! I wonder what we humans did to deserve losing ours so long ago. Probably took them for granted, like so many other things that have disappeared.

The flux of comings and goings in life is stimulating. I can’t ever tell whether I should regret things that have passed, or be grateful they are gone. Probably some from each column. And then there are those other 2 columns, Now and What’s Next? I feel a bit faint just wondering about it, right now.

Also, we, without tails, must settle for wiggling our bottoms, which is both fun and healthful, sort of. Keeps us sassy, which is the prime goal of most planetary interaction, right?
