Today is National Tweed Day, for those who claim Scottish descent, plus anybody else who is fond of Tweeds.
These creative holidays just keep coming, one after another. Makes a Rhino’s head spin.

Yes, Rhinos have an uncanny ability to act foolish. But We are multi-layered, often unpredictably so. Behind that Veil of Nutsiness, there is the Serious Rhino, staunchly holding to Tradition and Convention.
And then We are Obstinate. We stop thinking and start defending our Ideas and Values, whether We know what they are or not. We just set our jaws and close the doors of our minds. For some, this mindset can last years, for the lucky few, only minutes.
Rhinos have a lot on our minds. That does not mean it is all equally valuable or available.

And many Happy Returns, from “Your Inner Rhino!”
The Staff here got confused about how a calendar works, and decided yesterday was April Fools’, but cooler heads prevailed, given some time and fuss, so you Readers are getting the post on the correct day… unless it isn’t.
Foolishness: enough is enough.

Today the Staff at ‘Your Inner Rhino’ bid farewell to the month of March. We like traditions, and March provides bookends for itself in popular lore.
Thank you for your attention and We will see you again, We hope, tomorrow.
For fun, you might look at ‘Enter MARCH, Stage Right’ in the ‘Posts I Like’ column.

Today has been set aside for Reading the works of JRR Tolkien (1892-1973). He has created Worlds, or possibly visited Worlds, where things happen in Unusual Ways. And yet, they are easily understood, however peculiar they first appear to be.
Since We Rhinos do not read, We like to participate in our own way, dressing up like our favorite characters.
It does not matter which those characters are, since nobody can be offended. Only the Rhino in the get-up can “see” it!
