When Rhinos ask if there is a planned end to particular societal madness, We are sometimes advised to Wait and See.
Our next question is, how long is too long to wait?

Yesterday was National Sense of Smell Day. For Rhinos it is a big occasion, and We found ourselves pretty whelmed by the intensity of it all.
Thus We got side-tracked. Part of RhinoPerception is that every day is Sense of Smell Day. It’s one of those things that makes you glad you got up.
Next year, N. Sense of Smell Day will be on April 30, the last Saturday of the month. You might like to jot it down, so you can get ready for it.

If Mr. William Shakespeare (b. 1564) were alive today, he would be celebrating his 457th birthday. And he has certainly earned those candles.
In one way Shakespeare is dead, but in another, he is amazingly, vibrantly alive through his writing. Pretty much an unrivaled legacy of thought and passion and ingenuity and humanity.
Rhinos do not entirely understand Shakespeare, not because of the antique language, but from the cultural differences among species. Still, what We do get is Mighty Splendid. Some Birthday Present, from him to all of Us.

Rhinos do have to keep our eyes peeled. We are on our way from A to B, and something pops up. Most of the time it is nothing demanding. But sometimes, attention needs to be paid.
One advantage of the Wild is that there are not many Corners where We live. There are certainly blind spots, but We know how to skirt those, being trained by RMoms.
We are an alert species, or Rhinos would not be here to clarify things.

Yesterday was National Herbalist Day, celebrating those who try to make Us healthier using Natural Plants, etc. Their profession is an ancient one, developed through sharing Information born of Experience.
Because We are tardy in our greetings, We did some extra thinking, and came to the conclusion that Every Day is a good one to thank those who take Wellbeing seriously, not only their own, but Ours too.
Rhinos are all glad to have them to help Us.

Many of our Readers do not have tails, so it is understandable that their understanding of Tail Issues is rudimentary.
Rhinos do have tails, and occasionally We find that We have sat on it wrong. It goes to sleep, and makes a poor showing when called upon.
Fortunately, We have special callisthenics which revive the stunned appendage. Happy Ending, in so many ways.

Rhinos have some pretty astonishing Ideas, one way and another. We do not blush; Rhinos simply enjoy being so insightful.
What We wonder about is twofold. Fold #1 is, where was this Bright Idea prior to our recognizing it as such. Did it creep into our ear at nap time? Where does Brilliance lurk before reveaing itself?
And the other Fold, #2, is why don’t great ideas stick with Rhinos better than they do? By tomorrow We can easily forget all about it. Seems ungrateful or simple-minded, but it is true. Maybe Ideas come with an expiration date?
