The Bard’s Birthday

If Mr. William Shakespeare (b. 1564) were alive today, he would be celebrating his 457th birthday. And he has certainly earned those candles.

In one way Shakespeare is dead, but in another, he is amazingly, vibrantly alive through his writing. Pretty much an unrivaled legacy of thought and passion and ingenuity and humanity.

Rhinos do not entirely understand Shakespeare, not because of the antique language, but from the cultural differences among species. Still, what We do get is Mighty Splendid. Some Birthday Present, from him to all of Us.
