Heinrich Heine (1787-1856) puts thing in perspective. Not just as one might suppose words of comfort might be offered, but helping to focus on the follow-up to distress.
Rhinos are not hard-hearted, but We find that resolving deep emotion is a challenging business.

Thank you sir for sharing Heinrich Heine’s view pertaining to sorrow. On 2021/05/20 our historic 1915 Craftsman Bungalow home was caught up in our neighbor’s house fire. Both homes were a complete loss. Yes, there have been many tears, and yes, there have been many tissues. I still keep them close by. But with perspective, no one was physically harmed, no animals with names died, unless you consider the possum that lived under our house, his (or her) nickname was hissing rodent. I shed no tears for his or her loss. Thank you for your ability to keep the rest of the herd centered.
