HELLO out there! I am having trouble making jpegs from my original Photoshop art. The jpeg has been removed from my ‘Save As’ menu options, replaced by jpeg2000. However, jpeg2000 does not function on either WordPress or Facebook. That explains the lack of reading/art material at present.
I would welcome any suggections about how to correct matters. Please be specific and avoid acronyms. I am painfully ignorant of that aspect of computer functions.
Many thanks-
Bill
I have worked with jpegs for the past 3,200 pieces of art, so you can imagine my dismay at the present shift.
GIMP is a free program which will open jpg2000 and export jpg.

Dear Sir, you didn’t mention what version of Photoshop you are working with. If you are renting the current version from Adobe, they will most likely have a help line number for you to call. I use an older version that I own. All that I need to do is save my original file for backup and then flatten the one I want to make into a .jpeg, then do a file save as, and then select .jpeg from the pop-down window.
If this is a sudden glitch problem, contact Adobe with your concerns, perhaps you are not the only one with this issue right now. Hopefully they won’t say it is simply a problem based on solar flares. Best to you from sunny California.
