Asklepios was the ancient Greek demigod son of Apollo and Koronis. He served as the god of medicine, with his friendly serpent. They mostly lived in Epidaurus, not far from Athens. Very Popular as a philosopher, practitoner, and deity.

From the Asklepios family came Hippocrates, historically the first Doctor.
