Rhinoceros eyes get tired after heavy usage. At such times it’s common to jam our fists into our eyes, and rub them. Sometimes the eyes work better, other times, not.
But what We want to point out is the oddity we see only when we look at the inside of our eyelids: that splotchy rosey blob-full impression. It’s partly exciting, partly confusing, mostly because it makes no Sense. Those blobs are the Phosphenes.
We like them because Rhinos spend so much effort making Sense of things, that the opportunity to expect nothing much, and receiving it, is a Luxury of sorts!
