Not the least of the Mom’s issues is that often the Tot is entirely absorbed elsewhere, paying no attention, no matter how urgent the Lesson. The call is not getting through.

Repetition helps some, but in the end, Mom must roll her eyes and wish her Tot ‘good luck’. Which, oddly enough, often works just fine.
