Tycho Brahe was a Danish noble, but also a brilliant mathematician, Astronomer, and Theorist. He is credited as one of the first to accurately plot the skies. He was born on December 14, 1546.
Mr. Brahe was not an easy person to work with, though his king granted him a place on a small island between Sweden and Denmark (see star), on which he built an observatory and kept records. Brahe’s work helped launch Johannes Kepler’s studies.
