I’m happy you like that art; I tortured that sucker for days, changing patterns and tones and contrasts, etc., etc., til I pondered the virtues of going mad. Like Cinderella’s sisters, I was damned if I wasn’t getting my foot into that damned shoe. (A tortured simile if there ever was one.) I am a paisley fanatic, there, I admit it.
