This is Agatha Christie’s birthday, back in 1890. Her specialty was writing detective fiction, featuring improbable puzzle plots and ingenious sleuths.
In the Wild there is not much for a Rhino to detect. Scent informs all situations, which is seldom open to interpretation.
Rhinos do like the tip-toe element of Whodunits, even though they are about the Badly Behaved.

This lady is a triumph! Do all rhinos excel at knitting, crochet, tatting, etc?

Rhinos excel in all those fields, plus plumbing. I myself know next to nothing about them, including plumbing too.

Fabulous art! Who would’ve thought a rhino could look exactly like Miss Marple? And, of course The Mousetrap allusion is perfect. As for Poirot, is that a mustache on the wallpaper’s poison bottles? Which leaves only Tommy and Tuppence, and I think we can agree they are minor sleuths in the Christie pantheon. Thank you for celebrating Agatha. As you can see, I’m a fan.

Fans is always good, enthusiasms of all sorts. I like Christie’s cynicism, especially with Ms. Marple. That’s why YIR selected her as the poster girl.
