Give or Take

Today may have been William Shakespeare’s birthday, or close, back in 1564. That would make him 458 years old today, if he were alive.

Mr. Shakespeare left Us all a wealth of writings and poetry. It’s impossible to contain his work, his insight, his vitality, and his writing gifts.

A quote from his play “Henry VI, Part III” goes like this: “Having nothing, nothing can he lose”. A very Rhino sentiment. Rhinos own nothing so that’s a whole realm of concern We skip. Good deal.

The Primary Fact

For Rhinos, the primary fact of Us is our Rhinoness. Hence, RhinoCentricity. All other details relate to Rhinos as a species, with R rule and R Goals and R Families.

We are proud of our endurance in the face of adversity. We have seen a lot of it, and yet, here We are.

We adjust and accept whatever challenges are entailed. Rhinos don’t have another choice, so We might as well appreciate this one. With grace and good cheer.

Doin’ our Thang

Yes, Rhinos are substantial critters. We all display some ponderosity in the Wild.

Bees are small. They buzz as they attend to their business. You can keep track of them.

We want to point out that Nature gives each bunch of Critters special features for reaching our goals. Bees buzz, Rhinos stomp, etcetera. So you can tell Us apart.

Critter Lore

Rhinos have stories that carry powerful messages to our various Rhino families. The young hear them, and absorb them, and then aspire to reflect the virtues those stories promote.

Rhino stories are doubtless the very Best Stories Ever, but it is possible We are biased. These tales prepare Us for what is important, our lives to come.

We repeat the Rhino Tales to ourselves, and delight in our heritage. Heroism comes in many shapes and sizes.

a Deep Breath

Rhinos owe a lot of our R Flair to emotional tunings. Being so Sensitive, We pick up Emotions as they waft by. Mostly, We inhale with the left nostril, exhale with the right.

And then We enjoy a demi-moment of astonishment, followed by the wallop the given emotion packs.

We express ourselves, proportionate to the event, loud or soft, vague or focused. Sometimes We can control the wattage, others not. Being Sensitive is not like a whirl around the ballroom.

Preparations

Rhinos have often found that getting sound professional coaching is worth the time and trouble.

Most critters can skip, but hippity-hopping is more complex and demanding. This is true, especially for those of Us who weigh more than 2 tons.

And with little baskets of eggs, no less.
