Yes, Rhinos are tough and terrific almost all the time. But what takes Us by surprise is when something like a stubbed toe snatches all our attention and wits, leaving Us with spinning eyeballs and squeals of whimpering woe.

Doesn’t seem quite fair, to Us.

Each and every Rhino is gifted when it’s time to prance around. The details of the presentation are not the point; it’s the high spirits involved in the effort, the expression of good faith, the participation with Creation.

Rhinos are very good at Rejoicing.

A fact that Rhinos discovered a few million years ago, is that it takes a lot of ponderings and considerings and realizations to make a Knowledge. And still, as things are always changing, the ponderings alter, so then what We know needs examination so We can know that what We know is what there is to be known. At present.

It’s a wonder there are enough hours for Us to get this stuff done, or at a minimum, underway.

We should be back in the office Sunday sometime… Yeah. That sounds about right.

Today is National Dessert Day. There are many successful desserts around the world. Africa has fine desserts, though Asia has some too. Ultimately We selected the Kalahari Dessert, which straddles Botswana and Namibia.

Desserts are known for lack of water, but in the Wild, Rhinos have to make do, so We do.

Big words or small, they seem to flow on and on, without mercy.

Honestly now.

As you might rightly suppose, Rhinos know nothing about the Logic or Perceptions which inform Mataphysics. Still, Parmenides (450 BC or so) is a famous Greek philosopher, known as the Father of Metaphysics. He influenced Aristotle, if you like name-dropping.

The whole business adds up to: Real is Real, and contrariwise, Unreal does not exist. At least that’s how far We have gotten.

Order presupposes disorder which suggests to Us that before that there must have been some order to compare disorder to. We are more of a take-it-or-leave-it species, We Rhinos.

Rhinos don’t really use words. Words have their uses and their place, but We deal with things a bit more directly. Perhaps and probably.

Words seem to have subtleties that thrill, but they also mask a good deal of plain speaking. No Rhino wants to be defined, certainly not by a tangle of words, each open to interpretation and attitude.

One good sniff takes care of most of any Rhino’s needs.

An olde Rhino Truism is that Brooding makes you look moody, if not possessed. The emotions involved take over, and one seems socially dangerous, at a minimum.

Nature provides shrubbery in the Wild, where a Rhino can go to contemplate matters. Better if there are few witnesses. Or better yet, none.

Rhinos do not have thumbs as you may think of them. Still We have lots of Rules, some of them actually worth recalling.

Not all perhaps, but some.
