Weighty Debate

In general terms, the Bigger Rhino calls the shots and imposes the Useful Frame of Mind on the homefront. That is the standard approach when RParents recommend Policy.

But as with many other systems, there is room for fluctuation and topsi-turvitude. Things do not always go as planned. The Young Rhino is not always disposed to swallow what’s suggested.

Wild, huh?!?

Mindreading

Rhinos often feel that We have singularly insightful relations with those nearby, be they friends or foe. We don’t usually bother proving the point, it’s just a Rhino perception We cannot deny.

What is confusing though is our inability to figure out what is going on inside our own heads, and what goals We hope to approach through all this mental juggling.

Ah, yes. Who can tell?

Ophidiophobia

Ophidiophobia refers to the Agitation experienced when thinking of Snakes. It is not uncommon, and is usually a sign of intelligence, give or take.

Really, who wants to wrastle a snake, or be bitten by one? No sensible critter and certainly no Rhino. Tossing oneself into oncoming traffic shows little grasp of Common Sense.

What is the point of having an Inner Rhino, if you don’t engage the wits Nature gives you?

Notificationally Speaking

This blog, Your Inner Rhino, is within spitting distance of its nine year anniversary (10/20/2014). In the interest of not going crazy, I think we will use some of the 3,300 pieces of art/themes again, not more than maybe 30%, so I can breathe. Still love to draw and muse, but as they say, there is a Limit… at least for the nonce. PS: We’re still happy to get suggestions, civil ones, for topics of conversation.🤓

Toasty Times!!!

In 1666, London, England, had a Great Fire. (Great, meaning huge.) Many folk lost all they had, house and all. The fire was started with a “Whoops” at a bakery in Pudding Lane, which sounds improbable, but is still the fact. ‘Twas a disaster.

Rhinos generally avoid places where fires might break out. In the Wild, fires are disastrous, so We are vigilant. Who knows when a “Whoops” might happen? Natural or Unnatural.

Still terrible. Jeepers. and Golly.
