Rhinos are sometimes accused of needless frivolity. We are not sure what needless frivolity is; in our opinion, We could never have too much. We are simply making our contribution to the kitty.

Rhinos avoid moping whenever possible.

Even for critters as regulated and serene as Rhinos, each day has potential irritants permeating the fiber of events. These may fall anywhere on the scale of irksome-to-diasastrous.

Rhinos cannot predict these incidents. We can only keep calm and proceed as best We can.

If you must deal with a Rhino during a catastrophe, avoid the phrase “Temper, Temper”.

On the history side of things, the pineapple journeyed to Europe in 1664. It was named pineapple because it seemed to resemble a pinecone, though pineapples are tastier.

Rhinos like pineapples. They put the Hoo-La-La (!) back into our hulas, which is always a Good Thing. Ask Anybody.

Adolescence is a trying time for Rhinos, as We shift from one shape to another. We have to re-conceive ourselves all the time. Yesterday versus Today versus Tomorrow.

It may be illusion, but most of Us recall these changes as realizations that one part has taken over, doing a solo ehhancement. Next day or next month, We see another astonishing piece of progress. We evolve, no permission required.

It’s no wonder Adolescence involves a lot of stumbling around.

Today is the Summer Solstice, which means it is longer than any other day this year. How and why this is is beyond Us (Science). When it comes to days, Rhinos pretty much like them all.

We wish you joy with the extra minutes you get. Savor them, that’s our suggestion.

Daisies are not native to Rhino home turf, coming originally from Europe. So We have to plan ahead if We want to celebrate with you.

No matter where Rhinos go or what we do, Things Happen. This is not exclusively a Rhino phenomenon. Things may happen to other critters as well, for all We know.

As there seems no way to escape these surprises, the Rhino stance is to value the Unexpected, and see what it has to offer.

Why not?

Today We raise a toast to Rhino Dads, here and everywhere else. Without our efforts, the Rhino Clan would be a thing of the past. It takes two to tango, and We are Part Two.

Hooray, say We.

Elephants are stately critters, usually slow and steady. They organize themselves into herds and move around from place to place. Often the members of the E. herd are related to one another. They process.

Rhinos mostly adhere to the not-much-system System. Each of Us is sufficient for normal days, and We just get on with ourselves.

Rhinos are too free-wheeling for much regimentation.
