Over the Millennia, We Rhinos have wondered why Nature never provided Us with wings. We finally resigned ourselves to the reality that Rhinos have such a bonanza of qualities and sensibilities, that other critters would fell cheated. Or possibly intimidated.

Rhinos would not want that, certainly.

But that does not mean that Rhinos don’t think about flight, in case there is a Natural Development. You never know…

Surrepticious means sneaky and with dubious intentions, give or take.

The biggest problem with Surrepticiousness is spelling it. SuperSurrepticiousness involves wearing a mask.

Low cunning, We call it.

Rhinos enjoy the astonishing range of flavors, blends and processes for producing Tea. Impressive. Tea comes from everywhere where there are plants. As you’d expect, not all Teas are appealing to all Critters.

We just learned that there are Tea Bag kits, where you dry plants, then grind them to dust, put the dust into a little bag, seal it, and then make some Tea. In the Wild, water comes in many flavors too, depending on what all is already in it. Surprise elements can make Tea an adventure.

Rhinos drink Tea at room temperature, since that’s all We have. Sometimes We pretend the water’s hot, but often We forget.

We present these home truths believing that a reminder is always worth offering. Whether the Reader takes heed is entirely at the Reader’s discretion. As you probably imagined.

Cataclysms are usually few and far between. They are supposed to involve water, out-of-control water, and the likelihood that critters are not able to cope with the enormity of the chaos they provide.

Please remember that Rhinos can swim. It may not be pretty, but We can paddle and thrash with the best of them, especially in sink-or-swim situations.

If you see a Cataclysm coming, trot uphill, posthaste or sooner. Cataclysms are best addressed with Action, not Analysis.

Lucrezia Borgia is known today as a famous poisoner. Her father was the Pope, and she had two ambitious brothers. They all lived in a world where advantage was achieved by stealth and cunning. That advantage depended on public perception, so gossip and creative lying were powerful political tools.

So Lucrezia’s merry pranks may never have happened at all. The stories of her depravity may just have been aimed at damaging her family. We will probably never know the truth, but truth from 500 years ago is hard to assess.

Malicious gossip is interesting to Rhinos, because We smell deceit and evil intent without any words at all. This concept might help people rethink news as it comes along, but that would require thought. Lucrezia’s reputation has been lousy for a long time; maybe Bad Girls are more interesting than other kinds of girls? or Bad Boys, for that matter.
