Radishes hold a special place in Rhino hearts. Not only are they uber-tasty, but they embody many romantic notions of adventure and possibility. There are Rhino myths, Rhino dances, and Rhino songs and lullabies, all featuring the Radish.

Among young Rhinos, there is an ambition to track down and relate to that one special Radish, the one that will make every day afterward just a wee bit better. This pursuit is called the Radish Quest. Oddly enough, the Quest is more theoretical than it is successful. Still many a Rhino of whatever age keeps an eye peeled for the elusive Radish. We are tenacious critters, We Rhinos, and idealistic.
